Quick answers

GPS says “Location is off”

Turn on location in your phone’s quick settings, or tap Turn on on the Record screen. Make sure PaceMates has precise location (Settings → Apps → PaceMates → Permissions → Location → “Use precise location”).

Recording stops when the screen is off

Some phones (Xiaomi, Redmi, POCO, Oppo, Realme, Vivo, OnePlus, Samsung) stop apps to save battery. In PaceMates, the first time you press START we show the exact steps for your phone. Also turn off Battery saver during runs.

I didn’t get the sign-in email

Wait a minute and check Spam/Promotions. Then tap Resend. Open the link on the same phone that has PaceMates.

My streak broke

A streak day needs 1 km or 10 minutes of GPS activity before midnight, India time. Manual activities don’t count. Pro and free accounts get monthly streak freezes that are used automatically.

Report someone

Open their profile, post, comment or message → ⋯ → Report. You can also block them.
